Below are 4 ways that a fiberglass pools will save you money, lower your carbon foot print, and be a sustainable pool for a lifetime.
Less Waste=Less Cost
As you can see in the picture above of this 39+yr old pool, fiberglass pools do not require the periodic renovations that vinyl and gunite pools do. Fiberglass pools do not ever need a liner replaced saving tons of wasted material from being taken to landfills and thousands of dollars in replacement costs every few years.
Less Chemicals Needed & Less Electric Used
Fiberglass pools are known for their advantages of using less chemicals and having less heat loss due to fiberglass being a natural insulator. Fiberglass pools use less chemicals due to the fact they have a smooth finish that does not allow algae to grow inside the pool. This in turn allows you to lower your chemical usage and lower the amount of time you need to operate your pump and filter.
Automatic Pool Cleaners
All of our pools come with an automatic pool cleaner that works off of suction. This not only saves you time cleaning your pool, but also helps circulate water during cleaning, making your chemicals more effective. Also, suction cleaners do not require expensive booster pumps, which can double the amount of electricity your pool uses.
Led lights use as much as 79% less energy than traditional lights and have a 10,000 hour life! The best part of all is that they are even brighter than the traditional fiber-optic lights, and use less than half as much electricity.
