Rodney Wideman, Owner

Rodney worked with his Grandpa Clay & Dad Dennis learning the family business and is now the third generation owner of Wideman Pools.  He has perfected his craft and expertise in this field with 25+ years of hands on experience.  He received his Bachelor's degree in business from Missouri Baptist University, where he also earned his MBA in 2009.  His wife Krystle is a local school teacher who enjoys participating in many community involvement projects.  They have two children, Clayton and Estelle, and a tiny pup named Blue.  Family time is the number one priority and much of it is spent in the backyard with the pool, firepit, and BBQ grill!

Kendra, Administrative Coordinator

Kendra is also a part of the family business, as Rodney's sister-in-law.  She has worked on and off for the business for over a decade... familiarizing herself in all aspects of fiberglass pools, installing, water chemistry, and more.  Prior to accepting a full time position in 2018, she was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force with a background in administrative work.  She takes advantage of her free time during the winter months by traveling the world and making memories of a lifetime!

Ron, Operations Manager

Ron attended Linn Tech College where he received his certification as a Heavy Equipment Operator.  He has also completed numerous trainings related to the pool industry, including a Boot-Camp with our fiberglass manufacturer Latham, and in depth workshops with major brands such as Hayward & Pentair.  On the weekends you can find him enjoying time at the racetrack with his wife and grandkids!

Mike, Service Technician

Mike is our newest team member, but has been a trusted family friend for years.  His dedication to the community is commendable, as he has been a full time firefighter and EMT in the Jefferson County area for 8+ years! He grew up swimming in a Wideman Pool at home, and we could not be happier to add him to our small business family!

Team in Training...

Clayton W.

If you happen to drop by the store, there's a good chance you'll catch this young man trying to sell you a new pool or floatie!  He's a dedicated, team player, who shows up for work every day after school.  He enjoys Fortnite & Marvel Superheroes!

Stellie W.

Not yet as invested in working as her big brother, you can catch this gal poolside at home!  She comes by the office to say "hi", grab a snack, and then she's on her way... Who needs to work when you're this cute anyway?

Bainey-Boy

He turns heads everywhere he goes... and our store has been no exception.  We call him our company mascot because customers love to see him behind the register!
